Osage Beach Firefighters Support a Cure for Breast Cancer

Throughout the month of October Osage Beach Firefighters will be wearing pink shirts in support of finding a cure for Breast Cancer.  For more information on Breast Cancer please visit:

http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/

Why do you see so much pink every October? October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign by major breast cancer organizations to increase awareness of the disease. This includes educating the public about early detection, the cause, diagnosis, treatment, and support for survivors.

Thank you for supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month!

  1. Have you by any chance thought of selling these t-shirts as a fund raiser? I’ve seen other departments do it as a way of raising money for breast cancer as well. It’s great that the OBFD is taking this step to help fight the disease. Thank you for supporting Breast Cancer awareness month!

  2. Firefighter Rob,
We had a lot of interest in purchasing these Shirts last year and do plan on selling the 2012 design when it comes out.
