For the incidents of April, 2025 this averages nearly 8 calls per day. OBFPD covers 105 square miles out of 2 manned fire stations 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The average response time in May was 5 minutes 54 seconds. There were a total of 28 overlapping incidents meaning more than one incident was happening at the same time period.
During this same time period in 2024, OBFPD responded to 241 incidents for the month of May and 990 incidents for the year of 2024.
Currently, in 2025 OBFPD has responded to 1,169 incidents. Compared to 2024 from January, 1 – May 31st; we are 179 calls for service HIGHER than the previous year.
