Welcome to Our New Website
Welcome to our new website. It has been a few months in development and we hope that it meets our objective of providing convenient, life-saving and otherwise valuable information for citizens of the Osage Beach Fire Protection District (OBFPD). Please do not hesitate to provide suggestions, via a “Contact Us” message about what other information you would like to see. Our goal is to keep the site fresh and relevant to you.
The District has moved past the challenges of the pandemic and we are in full swing preparing for a busy, safe, and fun summer.
In addition to our normal activities, during 2020, we continued to look forward, planning our short, medium, and long-term objects to meet the needs of the community for years to come. In the short term, we 1) took delivery on two new Rosenbauer fire engines replacing our two 20-year old reserve engines, 2) with the assistance of Precision Fire Apparatus in Camdenton, we refurbished one of our fireboats, complete with an upgraded fire pump, new sonar and navigation electronics, and a fresh look. We identified the need to upgrade the reliability of our water response capabilities and placed a build-order for a new 1500 gpm fireboat which will arrive in July. As we finalize our draft of our long-range plans we will seek community involvement to gather input into current and future objectives of the Fire District.
We take pride in our commitment to being engaged in the community we serve. OBFPD staff is highly trained and are dedicated individuals, whose number one priority is service to the community, the same community we live in. Each member is here to assist you and your family in whatever capacity we can. We strive to provide professional, fast, reliable, on-the-spot emergency services to both full and part-time residents. The District Vision statement is “Our Family Protecting Your Family Because We Care”.
Please stay safe and well in 2021.
In Service,
Paul Berardi
Fire Chief
