In 2018 the Osage Beach Fire Protection District set a record of 2,244 runs being made that year. On November 22, 2024 that record was officially eclipsed with our 2,245th incident being responded to just before 3:30pm that day.

The fire district responds to primarily medical emergencies with 70% of our current volume being medical related. Although across the fire service the amount of fires we respond to is down, fire departments across the area are seeing an increase in 911 calls. We average nearly 200 calls per month so we would not be surprised to see our final number being near the 2,500 mark by the end of 2024. As always, we will adapt and overcome every obstacle, providing the service that is expected from our citizens and visitors.
