For the incidents of August, 2024 this averages 6.5 calls per day. OBFPD covers 105 square miles out of 2 manned fire station 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The average response time in August was 6 minutes 47 seconds. There were a total of 13 overlapping incidents meaning more than one incident was happening at the same time period. During this same time period in 2023, OBFPD responded to 225 incidents for the month of August and 1,505 incidents for the year of 2023.
Currently, in 2024 OBFPD has responded to 1,705 incidents. Compared to 2023 from January, 1 – August 31; we are 200 calls for service higher than the previous year.
