SAR Volunteers Needed!
The Osage Beach Search and Rescue a division of Osage Beach Fire is seeking to expand our capabilities; to do this we need to expand our team. This team is a small statewide mutual aid resource that primarily deploys to help with lost or missing individuals in urban environments. The team trains weekly at OBFIRE Station 3 in Linn Creek and conducts longer training events twice a year to exercise all capabilities . Various skill sets are needed including ground searchers, drone operators, operations/computer, and dog handlers. Dog handlers are responsible to provide your own puppy to train and be willing to train to OBSAR standards. If interested in learning more, contact Ray Shadow at 573-286-5289 or email at [email protected].
